Rocky View County Emergency Response Exercise

We train, we practice, we learn. That mantra came to life yesterday as Rocky View County brought together teams from across the organization for a full-scale, multi-agency emergency response exercise.
Staff from Finance, Information Management, Planning, Customer Care, Administration, Operations—and more—stepped into new and unfamiliar roles, simulating what it might be like in a real-world emergency. The result? A successful and eye-opening day of training, collaboration, and discovery.

Special thanks to Pauli Kruger, our Emergency Management Coordinator, whose leadership and dedication made the day not only possible but impactful for everyone involved. Pauli worked tirelessly to ensure this exercise was as meaningful as it was realistic.

Here are a few questions to get you thinking:
➡️ How do you stay informed during an emergency?
➡️What essentials would you take if you had to leave quickly?
➡️Do you know where you would go?
Let’s stay ready—together.
