It could take up to 3 days for assistance to come. Federal, provincial and municipal governments strongly encourage you to be prepared to be on your own with no outside assistance for a minimum of 72 hours.
The F.A.S.T. emergency food rations are made at our plant in Delta, BC using a combination of wheat flour, sugar, canola shortening, coconut and flavouring. There are no preservatives added. The food rations are 100% vegan and trans-fat free. The food rations are not a power bar but have the exact percentages of fat, carbohydrate and fat for survival for 72 hours as required by SOLAS (Safety Of Life At Sea) and Transport Canada. Pack your pet's favourite food in your emergency kit along with extra packets of water.
You need to pack extra prescription glasses and whatever medication you require. Bank machines might be unavailable, so some extra cash in small denominations is advisable.
Comfort kits are available from F.A.S.T. to provide your children with 72 hours of supplies. Have an "out of area" contact - this would be someone your family members can call to find out if you are safe. Communicate this contact person to all your family and friends. Determine where your family is going to meet after a disaster. Take into consideration day-time/night-time and weekdays/weekends. Keep emergency supplies in yourvehicleas well as your home; you may not be at home when disaster strikes.

Every municipality has an emergency plan - find it on your city's website. Volunteer your time and join the neighbourhood emergency preparedness group. Make sure your neighbours are prepared too.
The best place to keep your emergency kit is near your main emergency exit. If you need to evacuate immediately, you will need to have quick access to your emergency supplies.

Order Processing & Shipping
Orders shipment times vary based on the complexity and quantity ordered. Our current delivery times for home emergency kits is approximately two weeks. You will receive an email notification upon shipment. For questions on the status of your order, please call or email us.

Yes, simply select the "Pick Up (8850 River Road, Delta BC)" option when placing your order. You will receive an email letting you know when the order will be ready for pick up, as well as our address and pick up hours.
There are two general steps upon checkout. You can enter your coupon code on the second step (Note: Coupon code is NOT case sensitive). Enter the coupon code in the space provided, then hit "Apply". If successful, you should instantly see your savings.
