Christine Miller, BA (Honours)
Senior Consultant, Special Projects

Christine has been with F.A.S.T. since 2007.  She was involved in the development of F.A.S.T.’s Safety Management System and has spearheaded Occupational Health and Safety projects that span the province in both scope and implementation.

Christine earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors specializing in Occupational Psychology. This field is also sometimes referred to as organizational or industrial psychology and is essentially the study of how behaviours and attitudes affect an organization’s performance.  She completed her thesis on the topic of behaviors that affect cognitive learning and information retention, at York University in Toronto. While attending York University she worked at the Institute for Social Research where her research and statistical skills were honed.

Before joining F.A.S.T., Christine was the chief of staff for a Member of Provincial Parliament in the Ontario Legislature who served as Parliamentary Assistant to the Ministry of Labour. Her years of community involvement include extensive work with various non-profit organizations and political campaigns. Her experience in both the public and private sector combined with her organizational background, enable her to understand and balance the complex needs of our clients.

Christine recently sat on the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators (CCMTA) Expert Working Group for Vulnerable Road Users and was a contributing author to their most recent pedestrian safety recommendations for Canada’s Road Safety Strategy (RSS) 2015.
